Are you feeling sluggish, tired, or struggling to remember the simplest of tasks. Girl, I get it. And don’t even think about trying to create something new. You’re stuck right in the middle of a brain fog moment. Call it mom brain, menopause brain, or brain fog. The symptoms are the same and are super frustrating, especially if you’re one of those highly driven, high-capacity types like me. Inside this article, I’ll give you 4 hacks to beat mom brain and clear the fog for good no matter how old you are!

We Don’t Have Time For Brain Fog

Call it mom brain, menopause brain, or brain fog. The symptoms are the same and are super frustrating, especially if you’re one of those highly driven, high-capacity types like me. We don’t have time for brain fog, right?

Here’s the good news. First, you’re not alone. It happens to all of us, new moms, seasoned moms, younger, older … Second, there are things you can do to help fight it and even prevent it!

1. Get Moving

Exercise, even minimal exercise like walking can help. Movement increases blood flow to your entire body and increases the amount of oxygen flowing to all parts of your body.  Including your brain. Sparking that oxygen flow might be all you need to wipe that fog away and wake up your brain. So, schedule quick exercise breaks into your day to help your brain thrive.

2. Laugh Out Loud

Remember the saying, laughter is the best medicine?  It is! Laughter stimulates endorphins helping to release that “feel good feeling” in your brain.

Check out this John Hopkins University Medical School study. It shows that there is a connection between laughter and mental performance. Great news, right?

In a randomized trial study performed by John Hopinks University Medical School, there was a link discovered between laughter and a person’s mental performance. Humor improves memory capacity so bring on the laughs.

So don’t hold back. Crack that smile, giggle and embrace the humor in your day-to-day. Be intentional by finding ways in your day to laugh, really laugh, and watch the fog roll away.

3. Up Your Sleep Game

Sleep is one of the number one ways to fight ad prevent brain fog. Eight solid hours will do a body and mind good. So do what you can to enhance your sleep. Being a creative, I’ve battled this for years and have found several things that support a good night’s rest. Here are some of my favorite tips.

4. Plant-Powered Nootropic

If you haven’t experienced the world of nootropics, you are in for a treat. Let me be the first to introduce you to a plant-powered nootropic whose sole purpose is to support the brain’s ability to do what it is supposed to do and that is to FUNCTION! Say BYE BYE fog, hello clarity! If you’re ready to be wide awake, present, and able to recall all the things, this bad boy is for you! Its superpower is brain activation but it also is known to help restore gut balance, increase energy (YES PLEASE), improve cognitive patterning, enhance mental clarity, heighten mood (anyone else need support in this area?), increase libido, support both long and short term memory, helps you get more zzzzzzzzz’s, and guards your neurological system. I like to call it the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH for your brain. Here is my favorite one. I even have a code for $10 off your first purchase. You can get it here.

It’s Me, Without The Fog

There you are! Say hello to your highly driven, high-capacity self again and get back to owning your day!
