Destiny: Step into Your Purpose by T.D. Jakes - one of my favorites of the year. It is full of wisdom that I absorbed and also found it helpful as a mom.

The Last Arrow: Save Nothing for the next life by Erwin Raphael McManus - If you are feeling stuck or like you’re playing it safe, this book will encourage you to live fully.

Raising Giant Killers: Releasing Your Child’s Divine Destiny by Bill Johnson - EVERY parent needs to read this book. 

The Approval Fix by Joyce Meyer - For all the people pleasers out there, this is a must. Break up with approval and step into all you were meant to be.

Destroying the Spirit of Rejection by John Eckhardt - I’ve read this book several times and will likely read it several more. I’ve recommended it to numerous friends. I had no idea how much rejection impacted me. Knowledge is power people. Dig into this one and let your heart heal.

Silent Seasons by Heather Lindsey - One of my favorites from the year. If you’ve ever been in a holding pattern this is full of helpful wisdom.

Giving It All Away & Getting It All Back by Davide Green and Bill High - This is life changing. I’ve read it a few times and continue to be impacted by it.

Deep & Wide by Andy Stanley - This is one of the books I had to read for my Master’s program. Not one of my favorites but did give me things to think about.

Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done by Jon Acuff- This is an easy read and includes practical advice on how to finish goals. Great for all business owners.

Divided By Faith by Michael O. Emerson and Christian Smith - Another book from my Master’s program and man was this one hard to swallow. Hard topic but well written. This book made me think and changed me.

What Got You Here Won’t Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith and Mark Reiter - I love these types of books because of my corporate background. If you come out of corporate you will likely eat it up. If not, it might not be interesting.

Triggers: Creating Behavior That Lasts - Becoming The Person You Want To Be by Marshall Goldsmith and Mark Reiter - Practical tips for creating behaviors that last.

Divine Direction by Craig Groeschel - I’m a HUGE Craig fan. His take on leadership is awesome and his books always deliver. If you’re struggling with your true purpose, this is a good one.

Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain - Where are my quiet people?  You’ll LOVE this if you tend to be quiet or fall more towards being an introvert.

How to Talk so Kids will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish - Super practical guide to help with communication to kids. If you’re a parent, this will help you navigate conversations.

Soar! Build Your Vision from the Ground Up by T.D. Jakes - One of my favorites from the year. I’m a BIG fan of all things T.D. Jakes!

Stronger Than the Struggle by Havilah Cunnington - If you haven’t found Havilah yet, you’re in for a treat. She is a pure gem and so full of wisdom.

Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis - who didn’t read this one this year! AH MAZ ING ... 

Capital Gaines: The Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff by Chip Gaines - Do yourself a favor and read this one. Definitely one of my favorites from the year.

The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware - I’m obsessed with keeping the main thing the main thing and staying grounded. This book is a GREAT reminder about what is important in life.

Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown - If you aren’t a fan of Brene, we can’t be friends any longer. She is AMAZING and this book definitely delivers.

I Am Number 8 by John Gray - If you’ve ever felt overlooked or underqualified, this book will speak to you. It is FULL of wisdom and is an easy read.

Building a StoryBrand by Donal Miller - If you own a business, mastering the skill of story telling is a MUST.

Stay the Path by Bobbie Houston - Great encouragement for anybody that is in the middle of a challenge.

The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins - Quick easy read that will CHANGE your life. Side note, I saw her speak this year and it was AWESOME. If you struggle with fear or overthinking, this book is a must! We chose this as our book for a team retreat and it was a favorite of all that attended. Definitely a THUMBS up!

The Mentor Leader by Tony Dungy - my all time favorite devotional is written by Tony Dungy. He is so full of wisdom. Great book on leadership.

Fierce Faith by Alli Worthington - I was actually part of her launch team so am biased! 

100 Days of Brave by Annie Downs - I didn’t finish this one, not because it isn’t good just because I didn’t finish it yet.

The Bait of Satan by John Bevere - Do yourself a favor and get this book. I almost missed all the wisdom this book offers because of FEAR. I mean the title alone gave me shivers, it made me want to turn away. BUT God kept pulling me back and whispering to read it. If you want to go deeper with God, if you are strong willed, if you can hold a grudge like nobody’s business, if you struggle with bitterness, if you get “offended” or are “offended”, if you struggle with forgiveness, GET THIS BOOK and let it gently convict you! I promise it will be a GAMECHANGER ... I’ve read it and re-read it and know I will read it again.

Blessing Your Spirit: With the Blessings of Your Father and the Names of God by Sylvia Gunter - One of my favorites of the year. This is one of those books that you will read over and over and over again.

Food: What the Heck Should I Eat? By Mark Hyman M.D. - Great book if you’re on a health journey. It really helped me get the right foundation in place.
